Congratulations to IHS Academic Manager, Moira Browne MA (Chem), Pg Dip, Dip NT ION


Moira has just completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Third Level Learning & Teaching at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). The focus of the programme was on the development and demonstration of good practice in the design, delivery and evaluation of curricula and aims to enable participants to be effective, competent and reflective practitioners by facilitating them in the development and demonstration of good practice in the design, delivery and evaluation of curricula. The programme also aims to facilitate participants in developing their chosen educational interests and specialisms in learning and teaching, and to develop a personal and professional capacity for critical self-reflection.

Moira has been busy over the last few months integrating all these new learning and teaching methods into IHS courses to drive forward our already high standards of academic practice. IHS academic material from previous years was highlighted during her classes at DIT as being examples of excellent academic practice - well done Moira!
