The CI Level 4 Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching (VRQ) is approved by Ofqual as a UK level 4 (Irish level 6) regulated qualification. As a regulated qualification, it guarantees learners a high quality learning experience and employers, members of the public and others that the learner and IHS have reached the required standards.
The CI Level 5 Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle: Evaluating their Role in Chronic Disease Development is approved as a UK level 5 (Irish level 6/7) Self Regulated Qualification (SRQ), which means that is designed, delivered and awarded to the same quality standards as a regulated qualification, but is not regulated by Ofqual.
The CI Level 6 Diploma in Personalised Nutrition and Therapeutics is approved as a UK level 6 (Irish level 7/8) Self Regulated Qualification, as above.
These health and nutrition course qualifications are awarded by Crossfields Institute (CI), an awarding organisation and education charity, based in England, specialising in the design, delivery and award of holistic and integrative qualifications in sectors including health and social care and child development. The Institute is regulated by Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) which regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England and vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland.
Graduates of the IHS Diploma in Nutritional Therapy can register with the Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (NTOI), the only independent Nutritional Therapy association in Ireland. They can also register with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), and the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP), which covers both Ireland and the UK. Graduates can also apply for direct entry onto the MSc/PG Dip/PG Cert in Personalised Nutrition taught at CNELM in Wokingham, UK. This course is validated by Middlesex University for attendance, part attendance or 100% distance learning (eligibility is subject to grades and a letter of reference from IHS).
