Graduate Focus – Jennie Haire MSc, BSc, Dip

I completed my undergraduate degree in Food & Business Management (BSc) in UCD. I then went on to receive a scholarship to complete an MSc in Management Consulting in Smurfit Graduate Business School. After which I started my career as a Business Consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

“From when I was a teenager, I had a passion for both nutrition and business but was never quite sure how to combine the two. I chose an undergraduate degree that gave me the best of both but made a decision to pursue a more business related focus upon graduation when I delved into the world of Management Consultancy.

I enjoyed the fast pace of the corporate world but realised that I needed to create a career for myself that combined both of my passions, which is what led me to study Nutritional Therapy with the Institute of Health Sciences. I was coming from a very science-based background so choosing a course that science was at the core of was very important to me. My vision was to set up my own consultancy practice, which is where One Health was born. One Health is a female focused nutrition, health & wellness consultancy service that supports women in getting to the root of their hormonal imbalances. I work with female clients from all stages of life; from early in their reproductive years, right through to menopause with a range of goals such as fertility, PMS, PCOS and HA recovery.

Your Wellness Collective Ltd. is my latest venture with my business partners, Dr. Michelle Hone and Lisa Hughes. Your Wellness Collective is an E-commerce supplement platform stocking the highest quality products from the very best brands on the market that have been handpicked by us, three Registered Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapists. We offer our customers the opportunity to get a Personalised Supplement plan that’s tailored to their individual needs and health goals.

Pivoting my career in this way has brought me fulfilment and significant job satisfaction. I’m excited to see what the next few years will bring.”
