The Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching (VRQ) is approved by Ofqual as a UK level 4 (Irish level 6) regulated qualification. As a regulated qualification, it guarantees learners a high quality learning experience and employers, members of the public and others that the learner and IHS have reached the required standards.
The 6 Diploma in Nutritional Therapy is approved as a UK level 6 (Irish level 8) Self Regulated Qualification (SRQ), which means that is designed, delivered and awarded to the same quality standards as a regulated qualification, but is not regulated by Ofqual.
These health and nutrition course qualifications are awarded by Crossfields Institute (CI), an awarding organisation and education charity, based in England, specialising in the design, delivery and award of holistic and integrative qualifications in sectors including health and social care and child development. The Institute is regulated by Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) which regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England and vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland.
Graduates of the IHS Diploma in Nutritional Therapy can register with the Nutritional Therapists of Ireland (NTOI), the only independent Nutritional Therapy association in Ireland. They can also register with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).
