Recipe of the month - Paleo Brownies

Make January a little sweeter with these delicious Paleo Brownies Courtesy of our very own Melissa Turner, IHS Module Leader and Lecturer.

But first, what is Paleo?

Paleo means older or ancient. The Paleolithic Diet is a modern nutritional diet designed to emulate what humans ate during the Paleolithic era using modern foods. The diet is loosely based on eating food that is plant based, naturally grown and, of course, eating plenty of fish and meat. This means staying away from foods that were unavailable to humans during the Paleolithic era which include dairy products, grains, legumes, processed oils and refined sugar.

At IHS We believe that a healthy, nutritious diet and health promoting lifestyle is the key to long-lasting health and vitality. At IHS we constantly monitor latest research to bring you the most up to date information, so, in the name of research, let’s see what all the fuss is about and try theses Paleo Brownies!
