Edelle is a Registered Nutritional Therapist graduating with Distinction from IHS and is working towards full Functional Medicine Certification with IFM. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics and an Honours Degree in Chemistry from Trinity College, Dublin.
Edelle liaises with the operations team to facilitate the marketing and enrolments for all IHS courses. She coordinates all events and conferencing including the annual Irish Integrative Healthcare Conference.
As well as working for IHS, Edelle has a private practice in Dublin where her special area of interest is the role of Nutrition and Lifestyle in the Prevention and Reversal of Cognitive Decline. She has trained with leading neurologist Dr. Dale Bredesen at the Buck Institute for Research on Ageing in the Bredesen Protocol for the Reversal of Alzheimer’s Disease. Edelle believes that genetics, diet, lifestyle choices, environment and emotions all contribute to our present and future health. She uses the Functional Medicine model to design personalised treatment plans for her clients. Edelle is a member of the NTOI and as such adheres to the code of ethics and practice as laid out by the NTOI.
Edelle has worked for many years in the multinational arena and as a mother of four is familiar with the stressors of everyday life and the challenge of achieving work/life balance whilst carving out a successful career. Edelle is personally interested in sport and stays active by running and attending the gym and is also a member of a choir.
