Helen gained a joint honours degree in biochemistry and physiology from King’s College, London, before going on to study for a PhD in biochemistry at the Royal Free Hospital. After qualifying, she worked in medical research at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, specialising in neurochemistry and neuroimmunology.
Helen has since studied for a degree in Nutritional Therapy at CNE, which she completed in 2009. In addition to lecturing and supervising student clinics, she has held nutrition workshops and provided health and well-being talks for businesses. Helen has also worked with a charity providing nutrition education and support for people recovering from drug and alcohol abuse.
Helen’s passion is teaching, and she currently also lectures at the Centre for Nutrition Education, British College of Nutrition and Health and the Institute of Optimum Nutrition.
