Svetlana graduated the IHS Certificate in Dietary Counselling in 2012.
After graduating from IHS I went on to build my business almost the following day. I had a ready website waiting to go live, a few marketing strategies to implement, and a coaching concept to sell. I knew I had to start to consult immediately if I wanted my business to be successful, so I started to offer consultations free of charge to understand what people were looking for. As a result I have developed a weight loss coaching concept.
When I started my business, I knew that I would not want to run it as a conventional practice. I proactively search for my clients and spend time with them until we have covered all areas of their concern. I have also established a proactive follow-up system, which is really popular among my clients — it’s a lot of hard work, but that’s what make peoples come to me. Knowledge, confidence and genuine care. I’ve tried my business model in different markets, and what I have learned is that no single market is easier than the other. To grow the business, a lot of experimentation, patience and hard work is required. Hard work as in working Monday to Sunday.
The concept that I offer does not focus on calorie count, but rather on using a structure that allows my clients to eat a huge variety of wholesome foods. I coach my clients on how to optimize their digestive system and choose the right foods for ongoing detoxification and better wellbeing. The program is specifically tailor-made to my clients’ lifestyle, food likes and dislikes — that’s exactly what I’ve learned from my education at IHS.
